The Korn font was inspired by the logo of the American nu metal band Korn. The band was formed in 1993 by singer and guitarist Jonathan Davis, guitarists James “Munky” Shaffer and Brian “Head” Welch, bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and drummer David Silveria. Korn is one of the most influential and popular bands of the nu metal genre, and they have sold over 40 million albums worldwide.

Their music is characterized by heavy riffs, downtuned guitars, and lyrics that deal with topics such as abuse, addiction, and depression. Some of their most famous songs include “Blind”, “Freak on a Leash”, “Got the Life”, and “Here to Stay”. Korn’s career has spanned over three decades, and they have won several awards, including two Grammys and two MTV Video Music Awards.
